Encountering UG

Happened to find a nice read Stumbling Across UG. Different people are at different stages of Search. When I first came to know of UG, I was totally blown. I missed meeting JK. I definitely knew that UG was a very rare occurance, and is probably best showpiece that nature ever had. And according to this background, the interest in UG was the one with devotion and affection. And those who are not exposed to the matters spiritual, find him ordinary man with ordinary thoughts. And those who are deep into trying to get enlightened, will find him very very disturbing!

And now, after many years (during which I have met UG on and off, and met many others too), do I still hold UG in awe? Yes and no. Yes because he is indeed unique, and all the same reasons. No, because each and every entity in this world is equally unique and interesting.

So, the reasonings in the article all sound nice; but the underlying motivation is simply to fit UG into the logical framework that the mind has builtup over the time. If you give up logic, give up the meanings, deep respects, wishes and all that, perhaps the world will be different. Very different indeed.
